I am an experienced Biology lead focused on evidence-based pedagogy and curriculum design. With a background in ecological research and subject leadership experience in an outstanding London school, I aim to bridge the gap between high-level science and effective classroom practice.
I am passionate about helping both students and staff find confidence in the most challenging aspects of biology, to ensure every student has access to an inclusive, high-standard science education.

Leadership & Curriculum Design
As a former Head of Biology at Harris Academy Bermondsey, I led subject-specific strategy, mentored Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and oversaw the biology curriculum for KS3 through KS5. My approach focuses on:
- Developing rigorous, sequenced curricula that improve student retention.
- Coaching staff to deliver inclusive and engaging biology lessons.
- Data-driven intervention and assessment creation.
Exam Excellence & Revision Strategy
Through my role as Head of Biology at Primrose Kitten, I am at the forefront of digital revision and exam preparation.
- Examiner Insight: As an active A Level Biology Examiner, I provide teachers and students with “behind-the-curtain” insights into mark scheme application.
- Resource Creation: I have designed comprehensive revision courses, quizzes, and videos across AQA, OCR, and Edexcel boards.
- Student Support: I regularly present exam-skill sessions for Education in Action, helping hundreds of students prepare for their GCSE and A Level exams.
Evidence-Based CPD
As an experienced presenter for STEM Learning, ASE, and Education in Action, I deliver engaging, practical CPD sessions designed to solve modern classroom challenges.

- Inclusive Curricula: Strategies for increasing LGBTQ+ inclusivity within Biology.
- Plant Science Engagement: Increasing plant examples in lessons to move beyond the basics and inspire a love for plants and ecology in students (and teachers!).
